 | | Regency South from Galt Ocean Drive | Regency Tower South Association is continuing its concrete restoration project. Hunihan Inc. started the job in March, 2006 and will continue well into 2007 with major work being performed on balconies, lattices and all flat wall surfaces. We are experiencing what others described as “living in a concrete jungle.” We have concrete techs working on swing stages on five balcony stacks on the south side of our building, and one swing stage on the north side doing the punch out work prior to pressure cleaning, priming and painting. We’re hoping the entire project will be completed by the end of September - weather permitting. Our pool which is on the south side of our building has been closed for several months due to the concrete restoration work.
 | | Regency South Upper Patio Deck | Hill York replaced our cooling tower with a new stainless steel tower, replaced all of our steel piping for the AC units in the building with new copper pipe and installed an additional (redundant) pump for the building AC system. Certified Roofing Specialists did preventative maintenance on our five year old roofing system which is like new again. We also installed a new exhaust fan in our garage.
The wheels grind slowly but when all finished, will be well worth the wait and make life safer and easier at the Regency South, as well as improving the value of our property. Owners, residents and guests are already enjoying the advantages of some of our recent changes. Our Board of Directors has worked long and diligently to make certain the right decisions were made in the best interest of all, and the residents will be extremely happy when the work is completed. We will have a relatively new building for all to enjoy!
